Haven’t made a vlog in ages. Roaccutane is starting to work wonders with my skin, but the side effects are a pain in the arse. Things have improved dramatically. There is certainly hope for accutane users that are doing it tough in the first few weeks. For anyone still having issues with dry skin on their face i really do suggest you look into the ‘eau thermale avene’ range (i use the skin recovery cream calming formula for sensitive and irritated skin). It’s definitely a worthwhile investment.

Currently day 20 and im on my initial breakout D:
how long does it last?
How many Injections do you have to have. And do they hurt heaps?
are those nudie jeans in the background?
Btw, Im luvin ur music-taste !
Nice vids mate. Ive been on accutane for 5-6 weeks now. Going to my derm in 2 weeks, will probably double the dosage from 40mg to 60 or 80. Im getting really dry and red skin. Im also getting back and neck-aches… Really annoying.
Cant wait to finish this! Wish me gl haha…
im staying on 20 g now since i had a violent reaction with it but i seem fine on 20 g. possibly going to 40 g i’m not to sure.
ahaha. probably stating the obvious but i don’t even notice that i have an accent. wonder if i could get away with many empty conversations in the US by virtue of having a cool accent. cheers
good stuff. what dosage are you on atm? i’m a firm believer that its good to ease yourself into it. no issues with having a longer time horizon, perhaps 6 instead of 4 or 9 instead of 6 months
awesome. it’s a psychological thing for most. first few times i drank i felt like shit afterwards. but all in all survived without a scratch
God, I’m not a huge drinker or anything, but that’s tough, no drinking :S
so, i was randomly looking for videos talking about accutane benefits & side effects (’cause i’m considering taking it) and i watched this video, and i was pleasantly surprised by your cool accent!
im on accutane. 3 tablets a day :O
my lips are cracking, my skin is scabing and my eye lids are reddening.
I’m taking your advice on moisturisers etc.
I’m also thinking of taking a lower dosage.
my 18th is in 2 weeks…. im sure im goen to drink… alot tbh … my blood work is fine even tho iv drank b4
I wouldn’t use alcohol with isotretinoin, your liver is having a hard time already with the drug so adding alcohol will not be good for your liver
im on it like 2 months… 60 mg a day ….its still pretty bad tbh … chapped lips are a kick in the balls tbh haha …skins dry on my face… alcohol affect treatment ?
I’m currently in month 3. Pretty much no acne, but I do have some aching side effects like back pains and ankle pains when I walk. I take 80 mgs a day
yeh i did have very oily skin pretty much the main cause of my acne i am doubling my dosage soon
well im past my breakout stage in the 2nd month and its all starting to clear up only a few active whiteheads
thats outrageous. humour me if you will, but either the treatment is not working or you have had extremely oily skin.
in the event that the treatment has been working for you thats truly a blessing. Finding and purchasing the right moisturiser is an expensive task. Hows your progress?
good stuff. hope you stay clear indefinitely
iv been an roaccutane 20mg twice a day for 9 weeks now and i have never moisteriesed once… it doesnt make my skin that dry..
hey, i have been on it for, about 3 months now and my skin is so clear!! i don’t get pimples and i have had small side affects!
about time i had clear skin!!
thats really unfortunate. It’s safe to say that it is not merely an unlucky few who experience the worst side effects caused by accutane. It is quite prevalent. Thank you for sharing your story and raising a relevant concern
haven’t had a bloody nose yet, but i’ve had bloody nuggets up there. hurts like hell. whats your dosage at the moment? i wouldn’t go up unless your derm suggested you do
I had Accutane treatment for 12 months in 1998. My hairloss was incredible. Now in 2009, my hair is still thinning and falling out in the shower, in the car, on the bed, everywhere!
i get blood noses every fukin day lol n dry skin plz help n i hav the tablets of roaccutane n take two should i go to 3 tablets a day
